How grants are awarded

Four requirements. No exceptions.

  1. 01

    A 501(c)(3) partner

The receiving organization must be a registered charity. BCF does not grant to individuals, families, or private entities.

  2. 02

    A specific facility

A named building, with a scope of work our associates can specify against. Not a general fund.

  3. 03

    Long-term custody

The partner must be in a position to maintain the installation for the expected service life of the glazing.

  4. 04

    A paper trail

Every grant is reported on the foundation's 990-PF for that calendar year. Hardware is sourced from Ballistiglass at cost.

Can your organization receive a grant?

Write to our specifications team.

If you represent a 501(c)(3) serving a school or community space where ballistic glazing would materially reduce exposure, an associate from our specifications team can walk you through the intake. Include your EIN, the facility name, and the scope you have in mind.
